Yoga has helped to strengthen, stretch and balance my energies. I hope to bring the gift of yoga to others in a fun and challenging way without any judgment or expectation. I love teaching beginners and introducing experienced students to more advanced poses, always providing modifications and alternatives to suit my students’ needs along their journey. I have been a serious student of yoga for over fourteen years and have been teaching for nearly a decade. My classes are a combination of flowing and static poses, and I stress proper alignment to find breath and balance in every pose.
I completed a 200-hr YogaWorks Teacher Training in 2008, which is a renown program that incorporates various yoga styles in its trainings. I completed nearly 150 hours of Anusara Yoga Immersion trainings as well as a 200-hr Anusara Yoga Teacher Training. I have attended multiple advanced yoga workshops as well.
I opened my yoga studio in Mebane in November 2015 and moved to our current location in downtown Mebane in May 2016. My goal is to make YOGA SPOT Mebane a serene and calming space for students of all levels.
